No. The slope does not change the lift itself: a straight flight that meets the model's width and angle limits can take a straight lift, including a heavy-duty model for a larger rider. A staircase with a landing can take a lift on each flight, or a curved rail that carries on past it.
The lift can come with you or stay behind. Reinstalling a stair lift covers moving it to a compatible straight staircase, or it can be taken out if it is not needed.
