It can, with a lift suited to those stairs. The Harmar SL600 stair lift takes a rail up to 70 feet long, and the SL300 reaches 36 feet. The heavy-duty model reaches 40 feet.

Usually very little. On the Harmar SL300 and SL600, the seat, armrests, and footrest fold up when the lift is parked; the heavy-duty SL600HD has fixed armrests. Harmar attaches its straight rails to a few of the steps and sets them away from the wall.

A second staircase needs its own lift. A staircase with a landing can take a straight lift on each flight, with a change of seats at the landing, or one curved rail lift that follows it past the landing and around any turn.

Sometimes. It depends on whether your lift and its rail suit the staircase in the next home. Where they do, we can reinstall the lift there. If the next home does not need it, removing the stair lift clears it from this one.
